A set of four Red square metal rods engraved with a series of numbers on all sides. A spectator is invited to mix them up and assemble them together then add up the whole total. Within a second the magician either states or writes the total on a slip of paper this is long before the spectator has added their total. Both additions match. Alternatively the logs can be set out side by side and the performer immediately reveals the total of the opposite sides £6.00.
This effect is simple and straight forward. The performer borrows an object such as a ring from a spectator. the ring s placed underneath a handed chief, ( not supplied) the corners of which are held down by the spectator. A brass box is then introduced. The box, which is obviously closed, is handed to a second spectator . after saying the magical words the ring has disappeared from beneath the handkerchief, and is found inside the brass box The box comes with a screw on top which takes a while to unscrew. the box can be inspected , any small object that can fit inside the box can be used for this effect. The magician shows five solid brass discs, each has a different coloured band on the top and a small hole through the centre, also a small brass tube also with a hole in it's centre A spectator is asked to select a disc, no force is used, all the discs are now placed in a small brass tube and a cap is put onto the tube. A needle with a cord threaded on is pushed through the tube and discs, the spectator can hold each end of the cord while the magician open the tube and to the amazement of the audience the selected disc fall out all the other disc are threaded on the cord. A bolt, nut and a tiny padlock are shown. A spectator unscrews the nut. After thorough examination a borrowed ring is placed on the bolt and the nut is screwed back on. The hasp of the padlock is engaged in the hole at the screwed end of the bolt and locked. The Performer covers everything with a hanky and instantly brings out the ring separated from the nut and bolt (the effect can also be done bare handed). He then shows that the nut is properly in place on the bolt and the padlock is intact. Supplied is the brass bolt, nut, padlock and instructions, your will have to provide your own ring.

• No secret exchanges have to be made, and the ring can be lent to you by a spectator.
• At the end everything can be examined, and nobody will be able to discover the ingenious secret.
A Large needle with a ribbon is pushed through the middle of a match box . The magician now tips the contents of the match box out onto the palm of a spectator hand , surprise for the spectator because there is not a match in sight but only a large brass block without any holes in. The brass block measures 4.5 cm (1 7/8) long by 3cm (1 1/4) wide supplied with needle , ribbon and two match boxes £31.00
A cork is removed from a small brass can and out onto the table drops a yellow pea, a black-eye pea, a green pea and a black pea. The spectator is asked to select one of the peas. The performer asks: "Would it be magic if the only thing that comes out is the pea you selected?" So, all of the peas are placed back into the can and sealed by the cork. The spectator begins to say out loud as instructed "I want my pea!" After the performer waves his or her hand over the can, the cork is removed and out into the spectator's hand is poured warm water (which is mistaken as pee by the spectator) £11.00.

When this gimmick is placed over the bottle full of liquid, and the bottle is inverted, the liquid will stays inside the bottle. You can push a toothpick or match stick through the neck of the bottle and these will float up to the top of the liquid, thereby implying that there is nothing covering the neck of the bottle and that the liquid has magical suspended inside the bottle. The instruction contains the original Goldston routine, and more ideas
from Phil Goldston ,12 ideas from the Late Edwin Hopper, (adapted from
the versatile brass box) and even more suggestions from Sam Dalal. The

A card is chosen. Performer says he will reveal the card in a novel manner. A felt case is taken from his pocket and from this is removed a shiny black plaque. This is studded with four diamonds and this is said to be the selected card, the four of diamonds NO. The plaque is turned over to show a single diamond not correct. turning it over again now the six of diamonds wrong. Then the three of diamonds. dismayed the plaques are returned to the case, but still not convinced he has failed it is taken out again showing the three but turns it over revealing seven diamonds set out in a figure seven. The seven of diamonds is the correct card. Two plaques are supplied, card size, with the felt case and routine. Use your own forcing deck £10.00.

A small metal canister 3 cm (1 ¼ “)diameter and die is show. A member of the audience is given the canister to hold behind there back, and then is given the die and asked to place it in the canister and finally to place the top on the canister . All this is done out of sight of the performer.
The canister with the dice loaded in is now handed back to the performer. The performer can now reveal in a number of ways the number that is on the face side up of the dice, The performer apparently has had next to no time to handle the canister or die until the die is revealed.
